Yves Daccord is the former Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where he led one of the world's most important humanitarian organizations for over a decade. Under his leadership, the ICRC expanded its operations to over 80 countries and navigated some of the most complex humanitarian crises of the 21st century.
Yves brings to DARI's advisory board an unparalleled understanding of global governance, institutional leadership, and the challenges of operating with integrity and independence in a complex geopolitical environment. His experience in protecting human dignity in the most difficult circumstances informs DARI's commitment to safeguarding human values in the age of AI.
